Confirmed from Kerrville River Trail G St Trailhead's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Serene park offering trails for walking and biking as well as kayaking on the river.
What runners say about Kerrville River Trail G St Trailhead
“We took a midday walk along the river to enjoy the beautiful weather and views.”
This is my get away spot. I like to take walks and the nature of GODS CREATIONS. If I have some time left over after I do my errands I stop by and take a stroll. The other day I was doing some laundry up the road and I decided to stop by for the 20 minutes I had.
I believe the River Trail was built to keep me from obstinately walking facing traffic on the Bandera Hwy just cuz I love to walk. A trail access point was built on my street - how can I not regard the trail as my personal playground?
So glad they continue to expand the trail. It's a wonderful way to spend time. Lots of deer and birds everywhere you look!
Recovering but still good. Small parking area with access to the trails on both sides of the river. Access to the river is a little spotty but manageable. We were impressed by the cleanup, new walking path is great and some vegetation restoration in progress.
