Confirmed from Keystone Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Keystone Trail
“Perfect for a walk, run, or bike ride, either solo or with family/friends.”
This walking trail / bike trail is well maintained. I didn't experience a lot of uneven pavement to cause trip hazards. There is plenty of nature to see as you walk along the trail. This particular trail can be travel on for your nature walks and offer miles of trail.
Pretty well maintained, and wide enough for many people to use at the same time. Some great views and interesting scenery either North or South, and connects to other trails if you need to go to other parts of Omaha/Ralston/Bellevue. Perfect for a walk, run, or bike ride, either solo or with family/friends.
I run here every day and park at the softball field. Nice 1.5-2 mile long trail one way Feels very safe to run in and the stream is a nice natural touch.
Nice and mostly flat. Great access to popular roads in case you need to get off the trail for a snack or something

- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
