Confirmed from Killkenney Rocks Finger Rocks and Reservoir Loop's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

This is one of favorite kid-friendly easy walking trails in the Hartford/Farmington area. This trail always has plenty of parking the 2x that I’ve gone here. The trail offers beautiful views along several points of the loop which include several ponds/reservoirs.

Took my girlfriend here on our first date. The trails are well kept and clean, but still rustic looking over you get off the paved paths. Loved it and will probably be back at some point.

★★★★★ — David , Apr 2024

A great place to walk and get some steps in. Wonderful scenery. Easy elevation and plenty of trails to choose from whether you want to walk on paved roads or graveled paths. More We always see people on these paths. You will also interact with cyclists, rollerbladers, and people with pets.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
