Confirmed from Kimbell Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with pavilions, picnic tables, a playground, basketball & tennis courts & a pool.
What runners say about Kimbell Park
“This is the 1st time I've been to this park and it was so nice, Clean, and busy.”
“Nestled in a quiet neighborhood of modest homes, off the beaten path, the park has an intimate quality ideal for a gathering of friends.”
Not sure how we've never stumbled on this area before, but it's great. Went here for the Opening of the story trail and it is a nice big area. Park, trail, swings and even a community pool. Great spot to bring the kids
It's a nice peaceful park to run a few laps, be out in nature while keeping a close eye on your child. Amazing!
Nestled in a quiet neighborhood of modest homes, off the beaten path, the park has an intimate quality ideal for a gathering of friends. Bring your tacos from Toni's and a glass of sangria and linger after sunset to see stars and fireflies sparkle.
Probably best for a kids first park experience, usually empty and nothing exciting or unique. Nice tennis court that's usually empty. Nice walking path for the elderly with a bench swing. Room for a big family to eat at tables.
Trail conditions & character
