We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Kingsport Greenbelt Trail Head yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Kingsport Greenbelt Trail Head
My family and I love to walk and bike ride here. Such nice scenery and if you keep your eyes peeled you may even find some painted rocks that people hide everywhere 😁
We rode a 6 mile section of the Greenbelt Trail on July 15, 2023 starting at the Boatyard Landing Trailhead near the Neatherland Inn. It had a large parking area and a bathroom. We rode east towards Kingsport turning around at the Indian Creek Drive Trailhead.
Very neat and was interesting for my three year old. Does have that strong briny smell along many different parts of the trail and there are areas of geese poop you might want to watch out for if you have a small child walking along beside you.
One of my faves to visit to walk and bike. Mostly we bike on it. Love the newest opening and wooden bridge out to Cleek Rd trailhead. Love going here and being surrounded with nature.
