Confirmed from Kinnickinnic River Parkway's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly park with picnic tables and trails, plus a spot for driving radio-controlled cars.
What runners say about Kinnickinnic River Parkway
“Chill spot, beautiful little Creek, and my favorite tree.”
The kk River parkway is an experience that anyone will enjoy if you want to go out doors in woods but not have to worry about the dangers of the deep woods... They have trails all throughout the woods just pick a path and let the adventure begin...
I loved it! Really fun. Went with my dog and my family and some brothers to run. Baby aka my dog loved it. She's really tired now but she absolutely loved it💞 baby got to meet a doggy friend she had never met before in person she was scared of him but she will have to get used to him.
It's interesting. A little woods in the city. There are trails to walk right on the KK river
this is a really nice park just to walk through. No playground, no ball fields, just nature. The stream running through it adds to the beauty. Very relaxing place.
Trail conditions & character
“Last time I was here we spotted one in the open field, once it saw my 2 dogs and I it trailed us all the way to the car.”

- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
