Confirmed from McCarty Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Urban park with a swimming pool, lagoon, picnic areas, baseball diamonds & a multi-use trail.
What runners say about McCarty Park
“Its beautiful park i love it i go there last week with my husband and to many squirrels and ducks and have a beautiful heron i try to go near it but heron scared and fly”
I enjoy taking walks around the lagoon or bike riding in the park. I enjoyed a father and son racing their motorboat in the lagoon.
A beautiful and spacious park. Aside from the community services, there’s a lot the park has to offer. The pond is absolutely beautiful and there are many different trails that feed in and throughout the park.
I love this park very clean an nice people! I grew up in the area an would always go here to feed ducks or go swimming. I brought friends for a walk an we enjoyed ourselves!
Anyone that grew up in West Allis knows this place well. One of the most popular parks in the area, good location, easy to get to. Great place for a picnic, jog, or walk. Outdoor swimming pool, and the pond is stocked for fishing. Tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts.
