Confirmed from Krape Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Krape Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,262 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 3 mentions

“Very nice, well kept park.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 6 mentions

“Krape Park shows that the local community values beautiful outdoor spaces and that’s are willing to invest in it.”

We love this park. There are so many things to do. There is a trail next to the waterfall that brings you to the top of the waterfall. At the top, there is an observation area, bonfire pit, walking paths, disk golf, party shelters with grills, a playground, bathrooms.

MUST VISIT!! This park has been in my life from day 1! Lol We have memories that range from Fishing, Hiking, Bike Riding, Sledding during the Winter, to even Ice Skating back in the day! I even remember renting paddle boats and going up creek to see the Twin Caves.

All communities should have such a park with trails, age leveled play areas, sports, and dogs allowed (now if there were an off leash area). Most everyone was kind and welcoming to this newbie. I want to check out more.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🏞️ Scenic views 15 mentions

“Baptized at the top of the waterfall, climbed the rock wall to get to the twin caves and fell out of a canoe into the Pec one (canoes/ peddle boats available for rent).”
