Confirmed from Lake Artemesia Natural Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sunset themed park with a large lake that’s popular for leisurely hikes, fishing, bird-watching, and biking. It also has a playground.
What runners say about Lake Artemesia Natural Area
“The most beautiful views and park I have ever experienced ❤😍”
“The wind gently rustled through the air as I settled onto a natural bench overlooking the serene lake.”
“It's a great walking trail for all ages and our four-legged friends.”
What you would expect, a trail surrounding a large lake. The lake is larger than I thought and the trail larger. Bridges allow people to cross over the lake and get photos. There's several decks to view the lake or fish and a lookout area. Benches surround the lake. Swimming, skating, and boating are prohibited.
A wonderful place for jogging, walking and pets. Just be careful in the evening as not all trails have lights .
"It was morning at Lake Artemisia, 6:35 am. The wind gently rustled through the air as I settled onto a natural bench overlooking the serene lake. A graceful turtle-like swan glided across the water, adding to the tranquil scene.
The park is easy to access from busy streets. It's a great walking trail for all ages and our four-legged friends. The sunset theme is beautiful especially on a sunny day. There are playgrounds for children of all ages. The water brings calm and reflective. Highly recommended!!
