Confirmed from Lake Beresford Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Natural 210-acre park surrounded by a biking, skating & walking trail plus playgrounds & pavilions.
What runners say about Lake Beresford Park
“Beresford Park is a well-maintained community park with playgrounds, open spaces, sports facilities (tennis, basketball, baseball), and walking/bike paths.”
“Beautiful well maintained park with walking trails, bicycle trails, playground for children, picnic areas and bathrooms.”
“The trail is well shaded so even on a hot day it's pleasant to walk or ride your bicycle around the loop.”
Nice park, the main trail is a paved loop trail with lots of shade this is about 2 miles. This trail is right off the parking lot, great for bike rides and running. There is also 2 trails Red and Blue that run through the inside forest inside of the paved loop.
Love this park. The 2 mile loop is perfect as the weather starts getting hot and it’s paved which is great. If you take the path under RR tracks and to the right it dead ends and doing both you get a little over 3 miles which is a great 1hr plus walk depending on your speed.
Beautiful little Volusia County park. Great walking trails, and an amazing sunset view. One of the few places in Central Florida to see the sunset over water. It also has a nice playground, and a bike trail that runs through the middle of the park.
Great park with scenic trails. Love going in the late afternoon to catch a glimpse of the sunset
