Confirmed from Scrub Oak Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Scrub Oak Preserve
“It's so nice and peaceful.”
So glad I found this little trail! It's so nice and peaceful. The kids loved it to! Definitely will be back!
Great place. Connects to Lake Beresford Park via the power lines and there is a secret path to the Spring to Spring Trail. This preserve is important because it helps protect the very rare habitat of the Florida Scrub that is only known to occur in small sections of central FL and no where else in the world.
Short 1 mile loop trail. Important piece of green space for animals. Nice detailed info signs. No facilities. No where to sit that I could see. Great spot to take some nature photos and have a little hike. I got some photos of dung beetles and an amber winged dragon fly
Had a Very beautiful walk here today. Birds were singing all around. I even saw 2 family's of Turkeys.
