We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lake Oroville State Recreation Area yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Boating & camping (including floating sites), plus horseback riding & a 640-ft. waterfall.

Very beautiful an peaceful. Great place to take the faimly for the day or weekend. Trails to hike room to fly kites, so much to do boating swimming. Enjoy nature at it's finest
Love the Lake Oroville State Recreation Area. If you go make sure to check out the museum as well as the lookout tower where you can see all sides of the lake. It has many trails to hike.
Amazing views, clean trails, and a nice visitor's center. The lookout tower has the best views of the landscape.
Great family place, 2 hours from the Bay area. Nice with trees and shade and water. What else is needed?
