Confirmed from Lake Play's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park featuring picnic facilities, a playground, and a walking trail, along with benches.
What runners say about Lake Play
“They have dog waste station complete with bags so there is no excuse not to clean ip after your dogs.”
“Only 4 stars because it’s not that big, and there is no shade over the playground or 2 benches in the playground.”
“My partner and I had a beautiful picnic there today, it was peaceful.”
Okay so i love this place. It have covered table areas with bbq grills all around the walk and a fenced in play park for kids. There are always ducks swimming around in the lake its just an awesome place to throw an low cost event! Ive had numerous birthday parties here for kids.
A cute little playground/park, nice to use if it’s not too burning hott out or you just need to kill an hour of time. It also has a walking trail which is nice. No public bathrooms, but it’s next to a fire station and they’ve let me use their bathroom before which is nice.
Great playground for young children. And a walking trail around the lake. Took off one star because I couldn’t find any parkings close by so I parked by the Historic center and we have to walk across the grass to get inside the playground which is not fun especially after the rain when the grass still so wet
Great place to take kids to play and walk around the water. This afternoon, several families were out. I love seeing community parka filled, and I’m happy that city leaders created a space for families to enjoy the outdoors
