We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lake Siskiyou Spini Meadows Trailhead yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Kid-friendly area offering hiking, fishing, and swimming.
What runners say about Lake Siskiyou Spini Meadows Trailhead
“The cove here on the lake is absolutely beautiful and I love coming here every time I visit Mount Shasta”
“Great hiking trail for all levels.”
What a beautiful walk if your into mountains, lakes, streams, and rivers. Did I mention all the beautiful pines. My wife, puppy and I go there about once a week from the Redding area. The path is easy to follow and bathrooms to boot. Yes more than one.
This short trail could be suitable for everyone including toddlers and seniors.
Great hiking trail for all levels. The parking can be crowded early in the day. The start of the trail is surrounded by the lake and there are many wonderful spots to sit, relax and even take a soothing swim in the lake. Beautiful scenery in every direction.
What a fun walk around the lake. The bridge is awesome, and the gurgling water falls were just lovely. We got there just as some young men were jumping off the bridge! Luckily, it was splash and not splat!
