Lake Wailes Park is one of the most beautiful natural features of Lake Wales. Has a nice walking path, basketball court and fishing pier. Worth the time to visit. I often come here for morning walks. There is exercise equipment along the path that is available for use.
This place is absolutely beautiful! It’s sprawling old oak trees that canopy the sidewalks along with the large blue lake that is the centerpiece of the park. You don’t just have to walk or ride your bike you can also park your vehicle under one of the large oak trees, roll down your window, and feel the breeze while…
Lake Wales Park is definitely on the older side, but it seems to be one of the nicer options in the area. It’s a quiet spot with some green space and walking paths, and while the facilities could use a little updating, it’s generally clean and maintained.
Very nice park to just walk around. Love just getting out here just to walk around. Nice history around the area. Would come back here to walk again when I'm in the area.
