Confirmed from Lakeland Hills Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“It is always is clean Park and amazing people!”

Amazing place to hang out. Has lots of shaded area and a large walking path that circles the park. Had numerous swings and fun spinning playground equipment. Also had a basketball court, a small rock climbing wall, and an open grass field.

★★★★★ — Zachary , Jan 2023

I love that it has a big grassy area for picnic on the grass. It has a little playground area and a small loop to walk around. It is never crowded and that is super important at this pandemic time. Ohh and it has public restrooms

It is always is clean Park and amazing people! what areas to walk and shops within this distance of the trail as well! Mostly Like the rock pizza place it has subway it has ice cream and yogurt that has I believe taco time and Top Foods and Hop N drops. It’s just all around a safe place to go. Enjoy some free time.

★★★★★ — Steve , Apr 2026

Thus park is tucked away at the top of the East side of Lakeland hills. While it has limited parking, basically on the neighborhood streets, it is worth taking a few extra minutes and walking to have a little quiet time in a tranquil park setting.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

The practical stuff

  • AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
