We have not been able to confirm the surface, distance or shape of Lakeshore Park yet from its own listing, the park's website or runner reviews — so those cells stay blank rather than guess. What is below comes straight from the listing and from reviewers' own words. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with trails for walking, picnicking, and jogging, plus sunset views.
What runners say about Lakeshore Park
“It seemed like a clean area.”
“This place is as peaceful as it is beautiful.”
“The fresh air and serene water brought such peace of mind.”
My favorite place to relax with my son, or exercise by walking down the trails!!!
Ive never watched a game here unfortunately. It seemed like a clean area. Lots of people will park here to ride their bikes or walk their dogs. It’s a safe area and great access to walking trails. The park is right down the road not very far at all. There is an easy path on the east side.
I love everything about lake Hefner. I come here so often. When I was a child we came about once a month since it was so far. As an adult I live nearby, so I come almost daily. I love looking at the lake and all the trees! This is the best lake that we have in my opinion in the Metro area.
This place is as peaceful as it is beautiful. Watching the fish jumping in and out of the water, and just feeling the wind off of the water was very relaxing. A perfect place to either have some alone time or take a romantic walk.
