Confirmed from Lakeside Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Clean waterfront park with a playground and a splash pad.
What runners say about Lakeside Park
“It really surprised me with how nice it was how clean the area was and how much activities available.”
Cute park with lake view to take a nice walk on sunny days. There’s a loop paved path trail and a short nature trail. Lovely place to walk and enjoy nature. Plenty of benches to rest and plenty of birds and squirrels to enjoy. I love this cute little park!
I visited the Native Plant Walking Trail and Memorial Gardens. The gardens were exceptional. The quote "an early morning walk is a blessing for the whole day" sums everything up too well. All kinds of trees, bushes, flowers, and herbs. Birds, bugs, and rodents of all kinds. I even heard a woodpecker!
Lived in Pell City a number of years and this was a regular place to visit to relax and enjoy. The park has a nice walking trail around the edge of the park, boat ramp, man-made beach, picnic areas, restrooms, and a children's play area. You can relax at the beach, swim, fish or boat.
I was very impressed with this park, it was very clean and extremely disability friendly! My daughter is a part time wheel chair used and park time walker user. I still think you should watch your child because there were a few spots that had steep drop offs, but other wise was extremely disability friendly.

“Loved the playground for kids only thing is maybe during the summer, they should put a canopy over the playground so the equipment won't be so hot.”
