Very nice park to visit in Fond du lac Wisconsin especially in the summer Time. Gorgeous sunsets. Lac winnebago is a shallow lake and pretty windy. It is also worth visiting in the winter time especially around Christmas to see the special holiday light show. A very Park for the residents and visitors.
Lakeside park has a fantastic playground and we spent hours there between the zipline, swings, slides, and net climbing tower. Very safe, multiple playgrounds for various ages, lots of swings, and the other families there were kind. No dogs allowed around the playground.
The park has a great mix of playgrounds for all ages, making it easy for families with kids at different stages to all have fun. One of the most impressive updates recently was the addition of an all-access playground, designed so that children who use wheelchairs can fully participate.
This is a beautiful park on Lake Winnebago with many fun things to do! We enjoyed riding the train, walking on the nice paths, looking at the various boats, and viewing the colorful, well-maintained gardens.
