Confirmed from Lakeside Trails Mountain Bike Trails' own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lakeside Trails Mountain Bike Trails

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (106 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

“There was a few trees down on one part of the trail multiple trees so they need to be cut but other than that pretty well maintained decent trail.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“A very quiet and beautiful place, suitable for family, my dog likes to walk there a lot since the water is clean, you can swim, do bbq etc.”

👟 good for all levels 5 mentions

“Some mildly technical trails and some really easy trails”

Great place to take the family for a waterside picnic or to fish the Chattahoochee. Lots of areas to sit. Hiked a little over six miles and the trails were maintained and clean with periodic benches. Pretty easy hikes on green and blue.

Great mountain bike trails and beautiful lake views. Trails from easy to extremely difficult, depending on your experience. Easy to spend hours on the trails. Lots of fun!

This is a hidden treasure for me. I have worked in West Point for almost 5 years and have been riding power lines around the plant. After buying a new full suspension bike, I searched and found these trails are 5 minutes from work. Today was my 1st day to ride there and I will be back every day during the work week.

Really great mountain bike trails! We camped next door at R. Schaefer Heard & was able to bike right over! The trail map we received at check-in was helpful. There are several maps along the trail to help you find your way. There has been some clear cutting/burning in the forest but it didn't affect our ride.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
