In order to get to Echo Rock trail from Lakeview trail (starts by beach area), you have to walk trail and then go past boat rental place and through the parking area. The trail continues on NE side of parking lot. No trail map in area by boat rentals so we couldn't find trail and rented a canoe!
Love the trail system here! Wide, well manicured trails. Beach access, boat access, water views, woods, rock formations. Flat areas, hilly areas, rock climbing areas. Even a fancy supper club, if you're so inclined. The trails wind around a large main park area.
Trail was nice but simple, maybe too simple considering we had to pay almost $20 for a day pass to enter and that other trails in the area offer more rocks and bluffs. This trail is 95% woods, then a nice rocky point across from the grossly overpriced Ishnala Supper Club.
Beautiful and relaxing. So many trails to chose from. The views are amazing. Something for all hiking skills.
