Confirmed from Lapeer Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Peaceful park featuring playgrounds, volleyball courts and a basketball court for open play.
What runners say about Lapeer Park
“Nice clean Park but the bathrooms are under construction and is a good sledding hill for the kids”
“Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a quiet, beautiful escape without leaving the neighborhood.”
“It’s a cozy, tucked-away spot that still feels close to everything—perfect for peaceful walks, bike rides, or just soaking in nature.”
🌳 A Hidden Gem in the Heart of the Neighborhood 🌳 Lapeer Park holds such a special place in my heart. My parents used to bring us here as kids, and now I get to share the same joy with my own children.
Spacious park with a huge hill and long winding walk/bike trail that wraps around whole park. Pool in summer, basketball courts, good parking lot on two sides of park.
Great park. Used the fenced-in basketball court on November 24th 2022. Everything is sturdy, new cloth nets. Some cracked asphalt and double rims but everything is maintained. Beautiful volleyball courts in the summer, lawn is always mowed, tennis courts. Great 3/4 mile (?) walking path surrounding everything.
The city of Dearborn really takes care of this jem of a park. Swimming pool, .8 mile walking track, pavilion, volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, even a nice handball court (shared with one of the 8 basketball courts) a brand new comfort station for those times when nature really calls! Enjoy ☺️
Trail conditions & character
“In the winter, the large sledding hill offers endless fun (and a few good laughs—like the time we hit a snowbank and lost our breath from laughing so hard!”
“Great for walking and has many kids activities like soccer, basketball, bike riding or just walking up to the hill and enjoying the view”
“It’s a cozy, tucked-away spot that still feels close to everything—perfect for peaceful walks, bike rides, or just soaking in nature.”
