Confirmed from Hemlock Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

It's a great place to take the kids they have a playground a track to run or walk around basketball courts a hill that you can slide down when it's snowing they have a cabin to rent out for whatever events you may want to throw like a birthday party. My kids love the splash pad. Lots of fun for the family.

Very nice and large neighborhood park. I know that the pool has been gone 20 years or so, but I still miss it. The water play area is nice for small children in summer heat. Decent sized walking trails. Railroad right next to it, but none of the train movements in the hour I was there made much noise.

Great park. There is a hill that has limited visibility on the other side from the main park. On the other side of the hill are train tracks, and there's no physical barriers between the park exit and the tracks. Seems like a set up for problems. Otherwise great park.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
