We love this park. There are so many mature trees that there is always plenty of shade to enjoy. We like taking yard games, but there is also a playground, a duck pond, and a short walking trail.
Somehow the city of Layton keeps up the effort and the energy every year. The sidewalk fairs in summer. The incredible holiday light display every winter. And when I walk through the holiday lights every year, there is never a letdown. In fact it seems to have grown.
Such a nice spot I happened upon accidentally! Lots of ducks, geese, squirrels and other wildlife running around. Nice playground with bathrooms nearby. No dogs allowed unfortunately, but some good walking trails throughout. Will definitely be visiting again!
Went to the Christmas light display for the 1st time!! It was amazing!! Walking thru is definitely a must!!! I LOVE how some of the displays have interactive sound buttons for the little ones to push!! This will definitely become a new family tradition!!
