Great little park. Nice walking trail, scenic River views, rail way ring through it so you can watch trains go by. Connects to a walking trail up a tributary to the river. Also just up the street is a historical self guided walking tour -Also by the river. If you get thirsty, there are bars nearby. (Or hungry)
It's a great walking trail. It's very scenic especially in the morning if you want some quiet time to think. No bathrooms available, but there are local businesses near by.
Short, but pretty walk from near the Carousel Museum to Haymarket Square in Leavenworth. The city library will be hosting a story walk along this path in June so check that out too.
We absolutely love this trail. And this park, it is amazing. We ride our scooters as a family and it is so peaceful. Most definitely a great spot to enjoy some shade as well....
