Confirmed from Leon Smock 80 Acre Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Leon Smock 80-acre Park is almost like a miniature version of hartshorne woods up in navesink. Innumerable trails and deer runs throughout a mostly hardwood and Laurel rolling hills.

Went with dog for jog. Nice soft trails were good on the knees. Dry even after a rain the day before. Had to make a few trips around to get in the miles but I didn't mind. Even got to watch some baseball while cooling down. Nice park.

I had just moved to the area and was looking for a good walking trail. 80 acres park does not disappoint! It has well maintained trails with easy to see markers and plenty of beautiful foliage. The paths are sanded so even though it rained the night before, the trails were dry and easy to navigate.

★★★★★ — Jennifer , Oct 2018

Nice little park with a 1 mile loop for walking, biking or running. Several playgrounds for children. Also, many little league baseball games are held on the two main baseball fields.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
