This park was very nice and clean and I loved that the trail is concrete walkway! There deer everywhere and the landscape is beautiful!
There's a ton more parking here than I originally realized. I saw a lot of people walking, running, and riding their bikes. The cement paths are well maintained. There's plenty of rocky and fun-looking dirt bike paths winding through the trees. This is a great spot to walk the Leon Vista trailhead.
Dear Leon Vista Park and Trailhead, Calling you a “great running trail” alone would be an insult..Oh how I long for your twisting roads and endless dirt trails, I could get lost in you. Come to think of it, I did and almost died of thirst! I’ve spent many years getting to know you.
This Park is perfect to walk, hike, enjoy nature, and actually interact with nature, we took some small apples from home, cut them in half and offer them to the beautiful deers that live there; it was a wonderful experience, the Park has different levels of excitement. We’ll definitely go back!
