Confirmed from O. P. Schnabel Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Sprawling 202-acre park with nature trails, pavilions, picnic tables, athletic fields & a playscape.
What runners say about O. P. Schnabel Park
“The well-maintained concrete paths are wheelchair and stroller accessible, while still preserving the natural feel of the environment.”
“A spacious, peaceful park with scenic trails, wildlife, and plenty of spots to relax perfect for walking, biking, or a family day out.”
“The shaded paths are perfect for walking, jogging, or biking, with the tree canopy providing natural cooling even on warm days.”
Beautiful park. I come here to do morning or afternoon walks now. Perfect for family or solo. I walk the trail and it takes about 30 min to walk the Level 1 & Level 2 trail which is 1.2 miles. I started forcing my parents to do this walk too since they need exercise.
There are deer galore here! Plenty of wildlife and gently-used trails here. No matter what time of day, there always seems to be no end to the visitors: animal or not. Nearby is a nice YMCA for a rest stops or modern restroom not engulfed in wild fauna. Lovely park.
Came here to watch a few baseball fields and it's a pretty nice park. Baseball fields are in good shape and there is a nice playground and what appear to be a number of trails.
A hidden gem in the city! O.P. Schnabel Park offers a beautiful escape with its winding paved trails through dense cedar and oak trees. The shaded paths are perfect for walking, jogging, or biking, with the tree canopy providing natural cooling even on warm days.
