Confirmed from Leone Hall Price Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Tranquil park featuring creeks, meadows, trails and picnic tables, plus lots of wildlife.
What runners say about Leone Hall Price Park
“Nice trails, but not well maintained/marked.”
“Very quiet even with a full park.”
“Despite this, if you are looking for a relatively easy walk in a natural setting, I highly recommend.”
Absolutely love this park! It's hardly ever crowded, and a great place for a walk. It has a nice mixture of open areas, woods and water. The location along Alatoona Creek makes it all the better.
This trail is very green with lots of benches throughout your hike. There are lots of shaded areas and also areas with full sun. If you hike long enough, you’ll get to the water.
Take a walk in the enchanted forest! Truly beautiful trails through the woods and by the creek! What more could you ask for? Picnic tables and benches spread out periodically for a rest or a snack!
This little trail system is perfect for my littles! We loved exploring and looking over the meadows. And it wasn't too much for their little legs. We saw other people too so it wasn't isolated but wasn't overly crowded either.

“I wish there was a map of the trail at the entrance but it looks like they are improving the parking lot area.”
“The trail terrain changed from rocky and muddy to dirt and gravel but it is consistently very wide for runners, bikers and to have lots of room!”
“A few construction trucks were parked out front and working on a new restroom and just completed more benches and a deck off the parking lot.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- SurfaceMixed — more than one surface along the route, so check the segment you plan to run
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
