Confirmed from Leroy Jackson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Vast athletic park offering lighted fields for softball & soccer along with 6 tennis courts.
What runners say about Leroy Jackson Park
What do you want out of a park? This park has it. Nice playground, jogging trails, basketball courts, sports fields, dog run, BBQ with picnic tables. . . this park has it all. And the whole time you are surrounded by scenic vistas of the mountains. PS.
The park sure has grown over the years lots of grass and trees for shade and plenty of benches (very important). Just wish it didn't close at night , maybe more lighting is the answer...it is right across the street from the fire department so it should be safe.
Trail conditions & character
“Large park with bathrooms, several horse shoe pits, grassy areas, a couple baseball diamonds, a skate park just up the road, 2 dog parks, saw lots of people enjoying this place.”
