Confirmed from Lester J Knott Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Update: 3.16.2024 The old, rusty, benches have all been replaced with new, smooth, resin benches! They're comfortable & *safe* even in shorts, as it always should've been. Glad this issue's finally been resolved! Yay! Lots of kids today at the park. Swings are suspended by chains, which are rusty.

★★★★☆ — It'S , Mar 2024

Nice small park in a neighborhood housing area. Very clean and beautiful. The kids loved the playground and running around on the grass.

★★★★★ — Rosa , Sep 2018

Great park, lots and lots of open space for a toddler to run. But: the play structures need a refresh -- some wear and tear exposing rusted metal beneath. I'm not saying rip them out, I'm saying patch them up.

★★★★☆ — Edward , Jul 2025

MAGIKARP BE SPAWNING PLUS VALOR GYM ALL DAY BABY!!! WHAT WHAT?!?! Lol Pokemon go aside. Its a great park with at least one if not multiple basket ball courts. A great hill and field for kites.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🐕 Dog-friendly 10 mentions

“Wish that everyone would respect the City Ordinances and keep their dogs on leash.”

The practical stuff

  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
