Confirmed from Robertson Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Large place with a sports stadium, artificial-turf field & multi-use trails, plus a fenced dog run.
What runners say about Robertson Park
“This is a well-kept field with great amenities including bleachers for home and away spectators, team benches on the field, and nice artificial turf.”
“Robertson Park is a large park that offers a walking trail, lots of shade with beautiful nature/trees, green fields, sitting benches, an obelisk, and probably more.”
Great place to bring your dog with wonderful walking trails and a large dog park. The stream is extremely high now and more like a river.
Wonderful walking paths along the Arroyo Mocho creek makes for a beautiful walking experience with a group of friends.
Large park I’ve been in some time. Dirt/gravel parking lot on the west part of the park but if you don’t like that there is street parking. On the east side there are paved handicap stalls are available as well. 3 solid fields for recreational events.
Nice place to bring dogs, go on a nice walk, play sports or bring kids. There is a nice big playground and a creek near-by. There is also a disc golf course across the creek from the play structure you can access from a separate parking lot on the same street as the library.
Trail conditions & character
“And a dog field that looks like it’s separated into 3 parks and one that has obstacles for them to play on.”
“There is also a disc golf course across the creek from the play structure you can access from a separate parking lot on the same street as the library.”
“If you’re looking for a restroom seek the blue like building near “field 2”.”

The practical stuff
- AccessPosted hours — posted hours below; park gates sometimes close earlier than the listing says
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- LightingRunners report lights on the path — useful for pre-dawn and after-work miles. Lighting and opening hours are separate things, so check both.
- At the trailheadparking, restrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
- Stroller / wheelchairReported as smooth and step-free enough for a running stroller or a chair.
