Confirmed from Liberty Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Liberty Park
“Beautiful scenery, well lit walking path, relaxing sound of flowing water, it's so nice to just go sit by the water and look up at the stars or have a conversation.”
“Same park & still a nice serene place to enjoy nature.”
Very peaceful place. Beautiful scenery, well lit walking path, relaxing sound of flowing water, it's so nice to just go sit by the water and look up at the stars or have a conversation.
Nice little park in Belton. Lots of huge shade trees. Nice walking paths with a little river running alongside. Literally a few feet from I-35 and a short walking distance to downtown. With lots of large open spaces, they often have carnivals here during certain holidays.
Liberty Park in Belton is a great place to enjoy some fresh air and a walk. There's a creek that runs through as well as the beginning of a paved public trail. Alongside the trail, there are several picnic tables and benches. If you have a bit of time to burn take a walk at Liberty Park.
Nice trail and park to relax at, wish there were a few more benches, but it was still nice to just relax at.
