Confirmed from Liberty Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

🌳 shaded & cool 8 mentions

“It’s very big and has so many trees that provide amazing shade, which makes a huge difference, especially on hot days.”

I love this park. This reminds me of the one from back home, where the community came together to build it, but this one is bigger. The kids had lots of fun running around on it. They also have a splash pad. Unfortunately, it was under maintenance on this visit.

My friend brought me and my 4 & 6 year old last Tuesday. I was so exited when we arrived because I never expected such a huge Playground and amazing splash pad with slide. My girls are obsessed with slides so when they saw the one in the splash pad they ran to it.

Liberty Park in Parkland is such a beautiful, peaceful park. It’s very big and has so many trees that provide amazing shade, which makes a huge difference, especially on hot days. The whole park feels well cared for and inviting. My kids absolutely love it — there’s so much space to run, play, and explore.

Wow! This park is mind blowing. Massive quality playgrounds for older children, a killer splash park and a cute toddler area. My problem is that the toddler area is not entirely fenced in. I have twins and couldn’t leave the entrance to play with anyone for fear the other would run out.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
