This was an absolute beautiful beach to go to. It does require a fee to get in if you're not a local resident. However, because I was out of town, I parked about a half mile away and just walked. There is a ton of room to spread out, play games, have a picnic and grill. There is a giant park to play on with bathrooms.

This place is magical in the fall and winter. This place allows you to breathe and collect your thoughts, it's a great place for photography, I love coming here alone and wearing my headphones and holding my camera in my hand to take shots, or sometimes I walk on the rocks, sit down and smoke a cigar.
Excellent splash pad for the kiddos, nice sized playground to run around and warm up on. The beach is ok, larger sand particles so not the softest but still ok. The lighthouse property and surrounding landscaping definitely needs some TLC. The rocks below are fun to explore.
