Very nice trails, cool railroad tracks. Did get stung by a bee once, so be careful. Sweet view of downtown Saint Paul
Pleasant place with a paved trail that loops past Lake Pickerel and then back along the Mississippi River. The trail had a mixture of sun but mostly shade. The plants were similar to other sections along the Mississippi River with some big trees and a lot of undergrowth.
Always parking, always families, couples, and the Mississippi River rolling by, boats, people fishing, statues to climb, and biggest Cottonwood Trees I have ever seen! and I am Horticulturist! huge expanses of Green Grass, roller blading, bicycling, rent a kayak, take a nature walk.
Beautiful fenced in wooded area. We've gone a few times now and everyone has been sweet; bringing extra bags to pick up poop, water to fill the bowls, and having a good sense of how dogs play by not over policing their play.
