Confirmed from Limerick Community Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Limerick Community Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (1,193 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 8 mentions

“This parks always clean of debris and a safe place to hang out.”

👟 good for all levels 3 mentions

“The playground is great for all ages, from toddlers to older kids, and the iconic heart-shaped slide is always a hit—our kids love going up and down over and over again!”

This is a wonderful park and multi-sport facility. My reason for rating the park complex a 4 out of 5 stars is because there is not much cover from the sun around the complex. I was at the complex this past weekend for my son's baseball tournament. It was very hot and sunny.

The overall experience has been a positive one. The fields appear to he maintained to a decent level, the bathrooms were clean, smelled clean, and there was plenty of soap, there was also a very nice pathway that people were jogging, walking their dogs, and/or walking to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.

★★★★☆ — Stephen , Oct 2020

This park has something for everyone—playground, basketball court, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, walking trails, fitness stations along the path, and tons of open grassy space for free play. There are multiple pavilions and picnic tables for gatherings or a casual lunch outdoors.

I love in a townhouse with very little room to walk my little guy cause he's not the best on a leash. This place was perfect to get him walking in more than just a small circle. He was able to meet a few friends along the way.Would be nice to let them off the leash but it's understandable.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

Plan your run at Limerick Community Park

The practical stuff

  • AccessDawn to dusk — the gates close, so do not plan a run that finishes after dark
  • SurfacePaved — asphalt or concrete. Fast and predictable, runnable year-round, and fine with a stroller
  • DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
  • ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
  • At the trailheadparking, restrooms — reported by runners
  • DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
