Confirmed from Limestone Hill Trail's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Hiking area offering kid-friendly trails, hills, and sunset views.
What runners say about Limestone Hill Trail
“Scenic and easy to follow with variety of length loop trails.”
Great place to hike. It is very well maintained trailed. It will blow your mind as the trail is covered with a lot of trees, brids are screeming what else, i really enjoyed the trail. There is free availavle parking.
Great couple mile trail that can be extended with a few others in the park. Just the right amount of hills to get the heart rate up a little
Great day out in the park. Great trail. Bring your hiking shoes, you will need them. I recommend a walking stick or ski pole, you will need it in certain spots on the trail.
I love coming here with my dog, but the trails can get muddy/slippery. Great places to see Missouri's native plants.

- SurfaceNatural surface — easiest on the joints and the most fun, but expect roots, rocks and mud after rain
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
