Confirmed from Strawberry Creek Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Trail-filled park featuring novice-level hikes, a creek, and benches, plus picnic tables.
What runners say about Strawberry Creek Nature Area
“The trails are well maintained, however there's a couple that could use clearer marking.”
“Great place for a quick hike, beautiful scenery, and always well kept.”
My wife and I enjoyed this trail a lot. Every time we thought we were deep in the woods you'd come around the corner and you were right off someone's backyard.
Beautiful. Nice little lookouts/bench areas and plenty of trails. Well marked. Lots of wild life.
This is a beautiful place to take a short hike and enjoy nature. The park features a pavilion with several picnic tables, and four short hiking trails which wind through the woods, as well as a small creek. The trail we took was a relatively easy one, and was about a mile long.
A wonderful local hiking trail. The trails are well maintained, however there's a couple that could use clearer marking. Great place to feel away from it all in the middle of the city.
Trail conditions & character
“BSA Troop 557 is working to improve the trails and markers for an Eagle Scout project.”
