Confirmed from Limestone Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Limestone Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (97 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“Love this place lots of swings for the kids to play and it is very clean I like that there is a lot of different types of places to run here”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 8 mentions

“A great park for walking the trails, playground and beautiful fall colors on the trees.”

Multiple baseball fields, 3 separate playgrounds, basketball, pickleball and tennis courts, this park is all about sports. They also have a building with a kitchen that can be rented. I go there for the fine gravel walking trail which is wooded and beautiful.

The community building looks beautiful since being renovated. The trails are beautiful. The fields are all well maintained. The park is a beautiful place for events, outings, meetings, picnics, or just getting out.

★★★★★ — Jared , Jul 2019

Very nice local village park with a wooded walking path. Not too strenuous. Base Ball diamonds & Football field. Picnic parks and playgrounds for the kiddies. Very well kept.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
