Confirmed from Lincoln Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

What runners say about Lincoln Park

Pulled from public reviews of this trail (381 of them) — the things people bring up again and again, in their own words. Nothing here is written by us.

well-maintained 7 mentions

“Clean, fun playground for my almost 4 year old, plenty of shade for my 6 month old — even in 90 degree weather it was a fun time!”

🌳 shaded & cool 3 mentions

“Clean, fun playground for my almost 4 year old, plenty of shade for my 6 month old — even in 90 degree weather it was a fun time!”

The updated exercise equipment is nice! Depending on the time of day the walking loop is at least partially covered in shade compared to other parks.

This park is a new favorite. If you need a break from standard, regular swing and slide structure, come here! There are playhouses, seesaws, a merry-go-round… you have to see it in person. Great for kids who love pretend play. There is also a very tall playstructure which is awesome if you have kids who enjoy climbing.

★★★★★ — Monica , Apr 2022

Great place to let kids play while friends and I are able to get our miles in.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.

🚻 Restrooms 9 mentions

“Who vandalizes a playground and turns a restroom into a biohazard?”
