Confirmed from Lincoln Woods Nature Preserve's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
What runners say about Lincoln Woods Nature Preserve
I went on yesterday to this hiking trail and I had a lot of fun it looks very small from Lincoln but once you get in it has like all these different hiking trails and it was really nice. really relaxing and I had my two younger kids ages 6 and 7 and they really enjoyed themselves also.
The entrance is right off of Lincoln as shown in my first picture. Besides hearing all the cars this is a nice hidden gem for the area. We saw a few deer running around too. There are a few other entrance areas but they seemed really close to houses so use discretion on walking into someone's yard.
Loved this little place that actually turned out to be bigger then I originally thought it was going to be. I went walking with my kids and we all really enjoyed it. We spotted a bunny and a snake. There were cute little bridges. The trails were like a tunnel of trees.
Nice little hiking area but be careful sometimes a group of dudes are there kind of startled me once I walked through there but they just seem to be talking and smoking.
