Confirmed from Line Creek Nature Area's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

Line Creek is actually one of my favorite trails. Even though it is pretty small and fairly moderate for hiking, the scenery is beautiful. I felt as if I were David Thoreau walking through the forest. It's so peaceful to walk along side the creek.

Beautiful nature park! Clean and well kept. Bathrooms if you need them. There is a little area to walk around with many turtles to look at. My 3 year old loved it! Walking to the creek wasn't bad, just lots of roots so don't trip! Definitely will be returning.

Makes for a lovely walk. The sound of the flowing water is relaxing. We went on a weekday and we barely saw anyone else there. My 5.5 year old had no trouble with the trail but I think a smaller child would, just as an fyi. Lots of rocks and roots so you have to watch your step.

Considering today was a beautiful Sunday, my friend and I agreed we wanted to do something outdoors. She suggested "Line Creek Nature Area" in Peachtree City. Although the entrance is on Ga Hwy 54 (Floy Farr Pkwy), finding it can be a bit challenging.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
