Confirmed from Lions Legend Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Spacious park with playgrounds, concerts and 4th of July parties.
What runners say about Lions Legend Park
“The park is never overly crowded, public bathrooms are open and clean, the location is safe and there are two separate parks connected by a nice, short walk.”
“This park is a wonderful spot for families and kids of all ages!”
Went kite flying. Great open spaces. Playground with swings. Dog walking. And beautiful bike path. Kids playing little league. And volleyball court. Picnic area and tables.
Definitely one of our preferred parks. The park is never overly crowded, public bathrooms are open and clean, the location is safe and there are two separate parks connected by a nice, short walk.
This park is a wonderful spot for families and kids of all ages! The playground is really well designed, with a special smaller area perfect for younger children to play safely. There are plenty of swings, open space to run around, and a clean, modern layout that makes it easy to keep an eye on the kids.
The grounds are maintained very nicely. The playground was great for ages 2-13. We rented the pavilion and for the cost we were highly impressed. The pavilion was well lit, and clean. We were pleased with the bathroom conditions and the metal tables were a nice upgrade from wood.

The practical stuff
- AccessOpen 24 hours — no gate to beat, so a 5am or a 10pm run both work
- DistanceNot reported. Trail systems often quote total path mileage rather than a single loop, so measure the route you actually want before you drive out.
- ShadeNot reported. Assume some of it is exposed and carry water in summer.
- At the trailheadrestrooms, water — reported by runners
- DogsWelcome, per reviewers. Leash rules vary by park — the trailhead sign is the authority.
