Confirmed from Lithia Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.

“Playground, clean bathrooms, pond, Japanese garden and benches throughout.”

🏞️ beautiful scenery 16 mentions

“If you have extra time and fancy a short walk, the Japanese gardens are nearby and beautiful to visit (public access, with winter hours available on their website).”

Since moving into the area we've visited the park twice and have had a great experience each time! Access: The park can be easily accessed from the heart of downtown Ashland which makes it a fantastic central location for a non-technical, well populated afternoon trail walk that can be followed up with lunch or dinner…

This park is stunning and whimsical. I adore this park! There is always music of some kind going on in the park. It's beautiful to walk and also lovely to just sit by the pond with a book. It's gorgeous and if you are in Ashland you are missing out of you do not check it out.

One of my favorite places to go to when I wind up in Southern Oregon. It is so peaceful, calming, relaxing and refreshing. It's just a great park to be in, and it's safe.

★★★★★ — Pam , Nov 2025

Wonderful urban Park in the small town of Ashland. There are features of a typical park like grassy areas, picnic tables, and a playground. There are also multiple paths along the creek as well as some that go up the hill into a sunny Oak covered slope. There is even a free Japanese garden.

Trail conditions & character

What this trail is actually like underfoot and overhead, taken from its own listing and from reviews. Each one links to every other trail with the same character. Busy or quiet is reported as a plain fact, not a plus or a minus — a runner heading out alone at dawn often wants company on the path, and someone running intervals wants an empty one.
