Confirmed from Little Blue Trace Trailhead North endpoint's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Park with walking and biking trails, some paved and some gravel.
What runners say about Little Blue Trace Trailhead North endpoint
“Great trail for running or cycling that spans 13 miles across Independence.”
Awesome trail for just about everyone. For leisure or more sporting fun, this trail offers it all.
Loved the trail! Very wide open trail, which is nice to help keep away from ticks and whatnot. I expected it to connect as one big trail with little blue though, and it seemed to end. Not sure if I missed something. We were ready to turn around anyhow.
This trailhead is very nice, well-maintained, and features a large parking lot. The trail itself is mostly flat, with a combination of small gravel and paved surfaces.
The biggest hill you’ll see on the entire trail is that first one when leaving this trailhead. After that, the rest of the 15 miles is pretty easy.
