Confirmed from LaBenite Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
Scenic park bordering the Missouri River featuring hiking trails and picnic tables.
What runners say about LaBenite Park
“Went out to take pictures of night sky hoping to catch auroras sadly I did not, but I did get some beautiful shots of te night sky.”
“Quiet and dark so practicing night photography over looking the river was enjoyable”
We love walking here. Trail is clear, nature abundant, not crowded, by the water, part of history. Usually see fishermen and boats. It's a great local walk in nature.
Beautiful park. My first time to check out the Missouri River. I definitely plan to come back and try some fishing. I met a lot of very friendly people here. Just like having personal tour guides. I didn't have time to walk the nature trails. They say that is a must.
I've walked this several times. Very easy nice path. Today encountered baby skunks for the first time.
Nice park along the river with great picnic spots. We also enjoyed some of the trails. There's a disc golf course if that's your thing too. My five year old wasn't impressed by the small playground, but still ran around in it for a few minutes. There are basic latrines available.
