Confirmed from Little Cottonwood Park's own listing, the park or land manager's website, and runner reviews. Blank cells mean we could not verify that fact — we would rather say "not reported" than invent one. There is no Easy / Moderate / Hard rating on this page on purpose: a one-word difficulty score tells you nothing about whether a trail suits your run. Surface, distance, shade and hours do.
The grounds include sand volleyball courts, picnic shelters, BBQs, playgrounds & a basketball court.

My toddler loves the playground here. Plenty of picnic tables and benches. The walking path is absolutely beautiful. Its a great place to wak/run laps. The play equipment is very nice. Its always clean and its definitely maintained well. There is an area for small kids and another play area for the older kids.
Nice Family Friendly park with lots of green space! Walking path around the park. Kids play areas, two (2). Basketball Courts. Baseball/Softball field. Pavilions for parties. Free Parking. Dogs allowed if On Leash, and You Pick up After them, although Not a Dog Park.

Little Cottonwood Park is a great place for kids and adults alike! It has a large open grassy area, and fun structures for kids to run and play on/around! It is very well kept, clean and safe all at the same time. The kids are friendly as well as the parents...definitely a must come too for the entire family!
