Great spot for the family to get some fresh air and enjoy nature. Plenty of trails to explore. Signs identifying local wildlife and plants. Inside the center there’s a nice museum and play area for kids. I have a 2 and 4 year old and they loved it here! We spent about 2 hours there which was perfect for them.
The Little Red Schoolhouse is a terrific place to go no matter your age. There are great nature trails to explore, a fantastic nature center with lots of animals to observe, and incredibly helpful staff that is excited to educate you.
This nature center is really cool! It has a main building with nice restrooms and sitting area with books for kids and a chalk board. There is cool taxidermy on display as well as some live animals such as snakes and spiders. There is an old red school with other old items on display from past times.
Nice place to bring the family. They have a children's area with books, a large chalkboard, a table with sensory items, aquariums with fish and turtles. Clean restrooms, that include women's, men's and family rooms. Lots of benches to enjoy the outdoors, lots of trails and plenty of parking. No Admission Fee.
