Beautiful, clean and well groomed trail shared with bikes, pets, horses and people. Plenty of parking. One portable toilet in the parking lot but no other facilities. Lots of trail options to choose from from short to long and from hilly to flat. No bugs this early in the spring.
One of my favorite places to park at ant eat lunch. Nearby to alot of different forest preserves which have abundan parking and picnic tables everywhere. On nice days it can get pretty busy. Lots of trails that lead to all kinds of places and preserves.
Great walking, biking and hourse trails..Lots of of scenery..If you start from country lane woods going north,then keeping right turns you will turn up in the parking lot. Never seeing the same thing twice..Very clean trails..Do the woods a favor if you see a plastic bottle please pick it up and put in garbage can..
This is a nice trail for a walk or biking, I notice they added gravel to some parts of the trail which its cleaner and safer to walk. There is one place that needs URGENT attention, I included a picture, when it rains it gets full of water and the only way across is using the tree logs in the middle.
